No. 12 Menards / Dutch Boy 2023 Ford Mustang · Lionel Racing
DCCE Registry Record 000002 documents the Lionel Racing diecast family created for Ryan Blaney’s clean No. 12 Menards / Dutch Boy 2023 NASCAR Cup Series Champion presentation, with six currently documented 1:24 ARC and RCCA Elite releases.
A concise identification of the physical collectible, the vehicle or event it represents, and why it matters.
Released for the 2024 collector market, this Lionel Racing championship family reproduces Ryan Blaney’s No. 12 Menards / Dutch Boy 2023 Ford Mustang in a clean commemorative presentation. DCCE currently documents six 1:24 releases across the ARC and RCCA Elite product lines: standard, autographed standard, Elite, Color Chrome, Stealth, and autographed Stealth.
Using Lionel Racing’s model and finish definitions↗, six 1:24 versions are currently corroborated: standard Action Racing Collectables (ARC), an autographed Action Racing Collectables (ARC) edition, standard RCCA Elite, Action Racing Collectables (ARC) Color Chrome, Action Racing Collectables (ARC) Stealth, and an autographed Action Racing Collectables (ARC) edition. Release Details lists each version separately, and the version census remains open while unresolved manufacturer, production, exclusivity, or edition documentation is still being sought. The family commemorates Ryan Blaney↗ earning the 2023 NASCAR Cup Series championship↗, the first premier-series title of his career and Team Penske’s second consecutive Cup championship.
DOCUMENTED RELEASES

THE STORY
The season, the achievement, and the legacy.
A deeper account of the season, the defining achievement, and how it became part of diecast history.
Blaney entered 2023 seeking to convert years of playoff consistency into a championship run. His victory in the 2023 Coca-Cola 600↗ ended a 59-race winless streak, secured his playoff position, and gave the No. 12 team a foundation for the postseason.
The championship campaign accelerated during the playoffs. Blaney won at Talladega in the Round of 12 and then controlled the Round of 8 finale at Martinsville, leading 145 of 500 laps to earn his first Championship 4 appearance. NASCAR’s 2023 season review↗ identifies Martinsville as the decisive victory that sent the No. 12 Ford to Phoenix with the title in reach.
At Phoenix Raceway, Blaney finished second behind Ross Chastain and ahead of the other Championship 4 contenders, securing the 2023 NASCAR Cup Series championship↗. He completed the 36-race season with three victories, eight top-five finishes, and 18 top-ten finishes, giving Team Penske its fourth NASCAR Cup Series drivers’ championship.
Lionel Racing translated the title-winning season into a multi-version championship family. ARC carried the standard, autographed, Color Chrome, and Stealth releases, while RCCA Elite supplied the premium 1:24 version. Keeping those product lines separate from the manufacturer—and keeping the clean commemorative car separate from the Phoenix raced version—makes the release family understandable to collectors.
